What We Do
Nantucket Therapy Center has three distinct practices housed under one roof:
Communicating effectively involves enunciating sounds correctly, using proper intonation and tone of voice, and comprehending what’s heard. Speech-language pathologists, or speech-language therapists, at Nantucket Therapy Center are highly qualified to evaluate and diagnose clients with disorders and challenges in theses areas and help them improve their communication skills. We work collaboratively with other professional therapists and the parents of children to provide the best possible evidence based outcomes.
Occupational therapists serve clients, both children and adults, who need help with daily living and working tasks so they can lead independent satisfying lives. They assist clients with a variety of activities that are essential to daily living, including eating, dressing, and other smaller tasks like operating a computer. Occupational therapists work collaboratively with the client and family to work toward the best possible care and outcomes.
